My fascination with trees has been a long term affair. What I see in trees is that not one is the same as another, just like people, if you stop and take a good, long look you will see so much more. In fact, you can see a story unfold but my story will not be the same as your story.
My story is captured by stopping to look closer at the trees and seeing the story of the characters that are present in them. I feel that it is comparable to taking the time to stop and notice the people in our lives and to see them in a deeper way.
Others who have seen my work view another story, one about finding joy out of woundedness or suffering, others see a mystery evolving.
